The Pac-10 finished the bowl season at at sterling 5-0. Some people are just now realizing that the Pac-10 wasn't as down as originally thought. I have said it before, but it say it again: The Pac-10 doesn't look at impressive at first glance because they beat up on each other in conference than the other conferences do.
The Pac-10 along with the SEC and the Big XII are the 3 best college football conferences and the others aren't particularly close. It is simply the lack of exposure due to time zone differences (a 7pm kickoff in Oregon is 10pm on the East coast), the in-conference cannibalization that occurs due to the 9th conference game and the smaller size of the conference (a 12 team league should be expected to have more "good" teams an a 10 team league solely due larger league size. If the Pac-10 became the Pac-12 and added the most logical choices of Utah and BYU the is argument would go away).
