Its the NFC Championship with Washington facing the 49ers. Miami will play the winner in the Superbowl.
Not sure where all of the 49er running backs learned to run so fast, but they all ran like they were Barry Sanders in this one. However, the 49ers forgot one thing - you must cover Rickey Sanders deep

Washington versus Chicago - NFC Divisional Playoffs - Tecmo Super Bowl
PLAYOFFS!! Washington faces Chicago in the Divisional round of the NFC Playoffs. Chicago gave me my first loss of the season when Mark Rypien turned in a horrific performance. Not going to challenge their safeties deep as much on this one.

Week #2- Washington versus Dallas
Its Washington versus Dallas in Week 2.
Dallas is kind of an interesting team in this game. This game was based on the year before they really broke out, so even though Michael Irvin is in this game he really isn't that good. If you simulate an entire season with Dallas, he is typically Dallas' #3 receiver although his route on their passing plays kind of stink.

Bills - 49ers Super Bowl
Its the Bills versus the 49ers in the Super Bowl. I always hate playing the 49ers late in the season in Tecmo Super Bowl because it seems like their entire team runs so fast it seems like they have jet packs on their back.

Tecmo Super Bowl - Divisional Round Playoffs - Bills versus Raiders
Its the divisional round of the AFC Playoffs. Bills versus Raiders to play Denver in the AFC Championship game.
Tecmo Super Bowl - Week 17 - Bills versus Colts
Its the last game of the regular season. Thurman Thomas has rushed for over 2,000 yards (thus claiming the rushing title) and lead the league in receiving. The only thing to play for is the Bills going for the perfect season. However this game almost could not have started off worse and the Bills were down 14-0 after the first quarter. Will they be able to come back an finish the season 16-0?

Week 16 - Buffalo Bills versus the Colts
Thurman Thomas comes back from injury and is gunning for 2,000 yards rushing on the season.
Week 15 - Bills versus the Raiders
Thurman Thomas is still out, so the Bills must face Bo Jackson and the Raiders without the leagues leading rusher/reciever.
For as long as I have played Tecmo Super Bowl the computer's underuse of Bo Jackson remains a mystery to me.
